BrownTrout Publishers Limited (BTUK) was established in May 1999 to publish and sell both calendars and diaries to the UK and EU market.
Part of the BrownTrout group of loosely affiliated companies, with separate companies in Australia, Canada, Mexico and USA, BTUK ran a successful business for almost twenty years. However, the 2019 trading year was very disappointing, with a substantial drop in anticipated sales revenue leading to a significant financial loss for the year. Whilst Internet sales were growing, the closure and poor trading of a number of previously key retail partners was just too much for the business to respond to quickly enough.
The adverse and ongoing poor trading conditions owing to the Covid-19 Pandemic resulted in significant economic uncertainty, with non-essential retail being very badly affected. BTUK, therefore, has ceased to trade and the Directors have placed the company into Creditor’s Voluntary Liquidation.
The other companies in the BrownTrout Group, including BrownTrout US, continue to operate as before. Arrangements have been made to supply UK customers via the book wholesaler Gardners.
Please contact BrownTrout US at email@example.com or by calling our home office at (1) 310 607 9010 ext 104 (Gray Peterson).
